Kevin F. Adler is a passionate entrepreneur and sociologist, and the creator of Miracle Messages, a TV series that helps homeless individuals reunite with their loved ones using social media. Kevin's work pioneering social storytelling has been featured widely.

Kevin is the author of the ground-breaking book, Natural Disasters as a Catalyst for Social Capital (2015). His writing has been published in the New York TimesCS MonitorCedar Rapids GazetteInternational EducatorTechCrunch, and two peer-reviewed volumes.

Kevin has given talks at Microsoft NERD, Stanford, The Downtown Project, Dev Bootcamp, SingularityU, and elsewhere. He is a founding trustee of the Awesome Foundation-SF, a New Leaders Council Fellow (SF), a StartingBloc Fellow, and a Hive Global Leader. 

Previously, Kevin co-founded (a fundraising platform for under-served high schools), Entangled Ventures (an EdTech incubator), and BetterGrads (an e-mentoring nonprofit). He served 1 year as a goodwill ambassador for Rotary Int'l in Oaxaca, Mexico. 

Kevin completed his graduate studies at the University of Cambridge, and was the Culley Award recipient as the top grad at Occidental College. Recently, he studied exponential technologies at Singularity University's Graduate Studies Program at NASA.

  • He is an Honorary Lifetime Member of the Rotary Club of Livermore Valley

  • He had a small speaking role in the Sundance-award winning film, La Nina.

  • He was voted "Most Likely to Win an Oscar" by his High School Senior Class.

  • He uses his middle initial "F" to honor his mom (Farrington was her maiden name).

  • He was somehow recently named one of San Francisco's most eligible men.

  • He has never tried coffee.

  • His great-grandfather arrived at Ellis Island and changed the family last name from Orzeł, the Polish word for "eagle," to Adler, the German for "eagle."
